Reference your July 15, 09, message, Cawthon's of Florida.

I don't have an exact lead for you but do want to share the following.

Reference to Eucheeanna means Walton County, Florida. The Cawthon's of Walton County are descended from William Thomas Cawthon, jr. born 1785 Washington (now Jefferson) County, GA., died 1870 Walton County, FL.

William had fifteen daughters and seven sons by four wives. Just taking a headcount from a family chart four of his sons were born in Walton County, Florida. Considering that your Great-grandfather William T. Cawthon was born in 1870 I'd hazard the guess that it is possible that you are descended from William T. Cawthon and his fourth wife, Nancy McSwain.

I hope this has been of help.
Richard L. Cawthon
