Looking for the parents and siblings of Sarah Jane and Elizabeth Cothran (also spelled Cauthon in Sarah Jane's obituary). Her father is John B. Cothran/Cauthon who was a Methodist minister in Hardeman and possibly Fayette Co., TN. Sarah Jane was b. 28 APR 1828 and d. 20 DEC 1889 in Gibson Co., TN.

She married Curtis Harris (son of Joel Harris) who was b. abt. 1816 in NC. After Curtis' death, she married Patrick H. Jackson; she is buried in Antioch Cemetery, Gibson Co., TN.

Her sister Elizabeth married Rev. Richard A. Umstead and they had 5 children, none of whom had issue. Elizabeth & Richard lived in Humboldt, Gibson Co., TN.

I am descended through Sarah Jane and Curtis Harris. Willing to share what information I have.
