Is your Ann Cawood/Keywood the same (Mary) Ann Cawood that is a daughter of Stephen Cawood (1720-1810)? If that is the case I've also been tracking Cherokee heritage, not only from her but from several sides of my family. Mary Ann had a brother named Stephen born in 1765 who has a marriage in 1790 but already has at least one daughter. The daughter is nine when the new bride is eighteen or nineteen, though this is his first recorded marriage that survives.
