Charles, I am a Cavin, but am not sure we are from the same branch ? I guess the easiest way to begin to compare notes, is to ask you if these surnames mean anything at all to you. Goodman, Wilson, Cofer, Holland, Russell, Hiltz or Hilt, or Hickman ?? I am at a stand-still with Forges Cavin-1755, NC. He was married to Hannah Hilt, born 1770's in Ga. I am trying to figure out if Forges' Father was James and his Mother was Jean ? Yes, they were from Ireland, but I am fuzzy with that information. Let me know, please, if any of those names or this information means anything to you.......
