Carolyn,

I found your query on the Cavin family in southwest MS (specifically Wilkinson county). My grandfather, Alfred Douglas Joseph married Nettie Cavin in Wilkinson County around 1920. They were both born in 1901 and are buried at Hopewell Cemetary in Wilkinson County (Hyram).

You may all ready have this info. I've tracked my family on the Joseph side back to 1840 when the courthouse burned. I'd love to have any info that you might have on the Cavin's, Ashley's, Floyd's and/or Joseph's from this area.

Do you live in this area? I currently live in Spartanburg, SC but grew up between Gloster and Centreville, MS.
