You mentioned that "C.W. Cavin" had not been identified.
In the HISTORY of GREENE & SULLIVAN COUNTIES, State of Indiana--1884, p. 734, in the article about Dr. Alexander Marion Murphy...."Nine children were born to them, three of whom are living---A.D., F.I. [Flora Imogene Murphy, b. ~1850 IN] (wife of Dr. C.W. Cavin) and J.S." In the 1900 Census: Hamilton twp., Sullivan Co. IN, Flora Carins?? is listed as a widow & music teacher at the residence of her mother, Eliza C. Murphy, also a widow. Dr. Alexander Murphy was married to Eliza Cook Sedwick, who is in my line. If there is ever any more info on C.W. Cavin, I would be interested. Thanks.
