I would love to hear from those with CAVIN Family in Oregon and Idaho. I have very little info. My Grandmother was NORA BELLE and she was born around 1900. Her father is who I am most interested in at this time. He was MACKEY CAVIN, he married KATIE BENNETT in Idaho in the late 1800's. I know that they lived in Hereford Oregon in the early 1900's. And I have a post card addressed to my grandmother in 1917 in stayton Oregon. Mackey Cavin had 4 daughters, Nora Belle, Ollie, Oreen (unknown spelling, maybe Orine) and the youngest Wanetta. One son Corky.
If any of this sounds familiar or you have any info at all on Mackey Cavin please e mail me at cindydunaven@comcast.net. Thanks so much, Cindy
