I am researching my husband's paternal side of family. His ggrandmother was Francis Viola CAVIN b. 18 Jun 1894 at County Line Community, Grayson CO. TX. d. 7 Nov. 1981 Sherman, Grayson Co. TX. Her parents were Steven Oscar CAVIN b. 26 Aug 1870 in IND d. 24 Mar 1939 and Mary Ida DURHAM b. 13 Oct 1877 in KY d. Sep 1948. Steven's obituary states that he arrived in TX at age of 6. Family stories states that his mother moved from IND after death of father. Family stories state Steven's parents were John CAVIN b. ?1824 and Emily Janette DOWD.

I would love to hear from fellow researchers of these families.
