I am searching for the ancestors and siblings (if any) of
Meredith CAVIN b 17 Apr 1849 in TN. My first trace on him is the
1850 census for Franklin County, TN. I find him listed, but no
other family members. Find him on the Franklin County census in
1860 living with the C. H. BEAN family. He married Nancy BROWN,
b 4 Jan 1842 in TN. Their children all born in TN were:
Michael H. b 1867; Laura J. b Sep 1869; James Alonzo (my paternal
grandfather) b 16 Nov 1871 in Lincol County; Lucinda b 1874;
Nannie E. b 22 Feb 1878; Mary A. b Feb 1880 and Arthur Chester b
18 Mar 1882.
The 1880 census for Moore Co., TN. The next trace I have on the
family, they are in Johnson County, TX where Laura J. marries
Benjamin B. BARNES.
Any info on this family will be much appreciated and I will share
the info I have.
