Looking for information on our Tennessee born Cavin kin!
GG Grandfather was Andrew Cavin (b.Tennessee, 1825);
GG Grandmother's name is unknown; Andrew Cavin was the father of
our G Grandfather William Thomas Cavin (b. Tennessee, 1/27/1861,
died 12/8/1895) who married our G Grandmother Sarah Tankersley
Willitt (born Arkansas 1/9/1859). Andrew Cavin married 2nd wife,
Mary Jose Cavin (born Tennessee 1845). The 1880 Futon County
Arkansas census lists their children:
Joseph Cavin (Tenn., 1867); Nancy Cavin (Tenn., 1871); Elizabeth
Cavin (Tenn., 1863); Samuel E. Cavin (Tenn., 1875) who married
Alice A. (Tenn. 1876); James Cavin (Ark., 1879).
