Hi,
I'm trying to find any information about James Cavender who married Christina (Dina)Wertenberger in Canton, Stark County, Ohio (30 March 1830). I do not have a date of birth, place of brith, or even name of parents for James Cavender.
Christina Wertenberger was born 4 June 1804 in Plain TWP Stark Ohio and died 16 Nov 1841 in Canton, Start, Ohio. I don't have the name of her parents.
They had six children:
George Cavender (b 1832)
Daniel Valorous Cavender (my line) (b 18 July 1833)
David Cavender (b 7 Sept 1834)
Elizabeth Cavender (b 30 Nov 1835)
Susanna Cavender (B 1 May 1837)
Elias Cavender (b 22 Dec 1839)
Daniel Volorous Cavender married Eliza (Elizabeth) Ann Kimmerle 2 Sept 1860 in (?) and dies, it is believed, on 4 Sept 1893 in Kansas. Daniel and Eliza had the following children:
Henry Almont Cavender (my line) b 1861, married Cora Bell Wright
Franklin Eugene Cavender (1866) married Minnie E Wright, sister of Cora Bell Wright)
Charles Cavender (1872) married Isis McDonald
Myron Valorous Cavender (1875) married Lula May Riddle
Florence Idella Cavender (1879) married James Murphy and Sam Fulkerson
Any help would be so appreciated. We've never been able to go back further than James Cavender.
All were apparently born in Canton, Stark, Ohio.
