WHO IS THIS MRS GEORGE CAVENDER AUNT TO FAYE MEARS
>From The Thomaston Times---Thursday, March 18, 1943:
MEARS
Mr. Fay Mears, age 41, died at his residence 315 Lee St., Saturday,
March
13th.
He is survived by his wife, two aunts, Mrs. George Cavender of
Thomaston,Ga., and Mrs. Richard Edge of Conyers, Ga.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 15, at 5:00 p.m. from East
Thomaston Baptist Church with Rev. W. R. Lumpkin officiating.
Interment
Shiloh Cemetery.
Stephens Funeral Home. Mr. Fay MEARS b. Sept. 11, 1901 d. Mar. 13,
1943
He was the husband of Bertha Lee DANIEL MEARS.

MEARS
Mrs. Bertha Lee Mears, 31 died Monday, May 10, at a private hospital
in
Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, May 12, at 10 o'clock,
at
East Thomaston Baptist church. Rev. C. O. English officiated, assisted
by
Rev. J. A. Langford. Interment was in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Fay Mears; parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.
E.
Daniel; sister, Mrs. J. P. Slaughter, Mrs. Roy Haney, and Mrs. John
Sewell,
and brothers, Harvey Daniel, and Robert T. Daniel. Bertha Lee DANIEL
MEARS b. May 29, 1905 d. May 10, 1937.
Her parents buried at Shiloh Baptist Church in Upson County, Georgia.
She
is the daughter of Lizzie Henry DOWNS Daniel b. August 20, 1874 d.
July
22,1945 and Lennie Edward DANIEL b. August 26, 1876 d. November 9,
1949.
She was the wife of Mr. Fay Mears.
