Hi

I know of a Jane Cave my g.grandmother who married a Henry Yates in 1888 and lived in Burscough. Jane was the daughter of John Cave from Lathom, Lancashire and they lived in Moorfield Lane Scarisbrick in the 1881 census (Scarisbrick is not a million miles from Aughton and Cave is not too common a name - there may be a link if you can provide any additional information.
