Thanks for that bit of info, Jon, its very kind of you! Have you joined the Cave society and if so have you found it to be worthwhile to your searches? I have names but as you said since there seem to be no published charts it makes verification difficult. I wonder if you could answer a question I have re my names. I show two William Caves which are supposed to be Col. J.H. Cave's son and grandson but the dates I have just don't mesh. The first William married Sarah Boheme at St. Pancras in London, my records show that as possibly 1790 and the second William was born in 1805 and married Hannah Trotman. As Col Cave was supposed to have married in 1815 this is all very confusing. Have you come across these names? Thanks again for your help. Kind regards, Susan
