He is the father of my grandmother,Martha Jane(Mattie) Cave, Hannan. William was born in Virginia. He married Treasy Jane Milner, who was born in Kentucky. Martha Jane was born on 7/15/1876, in Granson or Grayson County, Kentucky. William and Treasy are buried in Scranton Cemetary, Eastland County, Texas. Martha named her first born Calvin. I believe this name is a birthname of someone further back in the family.
