If someone could shed any light on this CAVE family, I would be appreciative. I will share what data I have (more than this).
Benjamin CAVE and Mary JENKINS had a son, Nathaniel CAVE, b. 1794 ?Montgomery Co, KY, d. 1853 Pickaway Co, OH. Believe they had 8 children: Benjamin Jr., Dorcas, Emanuel, Nathaniel, Jonas, John, Sarah and Ezekiel.
Nathaniel married 7 Jan 1817 Fairfield or Hocking Co OH to Elizabeth WALTERS, b. 1795, d. 1849. To them were born nine known children: Charlotte, Elijah, Elizabeth, Sarah, Catherine, Nathaniel (Jr.), Lavenia, Dinah and Emanuel.
Charlotte Cave, b. 22 Oct 1817 Hocking Co OH, d. 28 Oct 1891 Pickaway Co OH, married first 17 Sep 1835 John NIHISER and had four known children; John, Jr., Diana, Joseph and Salome. She married second 29 Oct 1846 Jacob METZGER and had Daniel, Sampson, Jacob, Mary Ellen, William A. and Jonas. Her obituary states she was the mother of eleven children. Who are the others?
