Hi Diana, The passport to pass through GA came from whatever Indian tribe was there in 1810. One had to receive permission to pass through their lands. I ran across this with David Allen b1761 NJ, received permission from the Chickasaw, or it might have been Creek, tribe to pass through. He lived on Chickasaw land in Walker County AL, with permission of the chief's. Hope this helps. Joyce Notify Administrator about this message?
