Patsy, Circumstances suggest that John Cave who died in Stafford and whose will was probated in 1721, was my direct ancestor. I have been onto him for years, but have not been able to find where his line originated. It would be a breakthrough if you have evidence re Caldecot, England. Please tell us more.
