I am trying to locate information on the family line of Caves that were residing in Southern Illinois around 1900. Martie Caves was my grandfather, who died in Hastings Nebraska in 1954, the year I was born. I have no information on his ancestors at all, but do have his sibling lines. His mother is said to have remarried a "Swisher" (not sure of spelling, but is how it sounds) and relocated to Pekin Illinois.
Any of the Caves Families, dating back to Bedfordshire England may be his ancestors, and I would be interested in working with you to do research on this line.
I would enjoy any printed descendant line information on the Caves Families that lead to Bedforshire England.
