My grandmother was Angie Cavanaugh, the daughter of Patrick H.Cavanaugh and Minerva Self Cavanaugh of Vernon parish La. I have all the info. about John living in Alabama--or at least a little of it--I recieved that from a cousin in Alabama who has done a bit of research on the old boy--I was told as a child that Mother's first cousin,now deceased,Jane Cavanaugh weeks Johnson,had corresponded with the Cavanaugh's in Ireland--apparently "our" Cavanaughs. Eloise also told me that John had a brother who "went North" just why he would have gone there is beyond me but according to that story he did! Anyway--how are you related to the ole boy?
