My connection with the Dorina Cavanagh is somewhat remote. She was the wife of my first cousin 3 times removed.
However, you and I are fourth cousins. We share a common Great Great Great Grandfather - James McGuckian ( married to Agnes Brannan)
I see that you are descended in the following line:-
James McGuckian(our common ancestor) - Patrick McGuckian - James McGuckian - Ellen McGuigan - James Penman - Linda Penman.
I am descended through Hyndman McGuckian - another of James McGuckian's sons
The line is:-
James McGuckian ( our common ancestor) - Hyndman McGuckian - Margaret McGuckian - James McAree - Mary McAree - Alex Harvey
I have transcripts of quite a few Birth, Marriage, Death Certs and Census returns for the McGuigans, Cavanaghs and Penmans. If you are interested in any particular certificate let me know and if I have it, I will forward a copy to you.
