Looking for a Joseph Cavanaugh (born about 1800 in Kentucky)

I'm looking for any threads that might be pulled together for a Joseph Cavanaugh, born about 1800 in Kentucky. Most of the information I have for him is in Missouri, but Census records indicate a Kentucky birth.

He married Mary (last name unknown), and had 7 children between 1830 and 1850. All the children (Frances, Margaret, Anna, Joseph, Laurence, David and Andrew) were born in Missouri.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
