Dear Jimmy - I was just browsing the Cavanaugh (Kavanaugh) name and came across your message - hope you are still doing research!
My Great Grandmother was Bridget Cavanaugh and it is believed her parents came from county Wexford.She was born in Illinois. I have been told she had red-haired twin brothers. I know that she married a John Cullen in Chicago in 1880 and that they moved to Colorado around 1886. I am having trouble establishing the Ireland root as I don't know what her parents names were. Do you think we might have a link here? Would appreciate any input you have. Thanks!
