It could be that they're related, but I don't have it in my records. However, my records are slim, Boston can't find a record of birth for Edward. I did have some other info on a Patrick Cavanaugh who had married an Ann Doyle but from Wexford, IRE. He had a brother named Thomas and a son named George Cavanaugh, but still I don't even have a connection to them. Interesting, my grandmother Rose Cecilia was married in S.F. on January 3, 1915, a year before yours. I wonder if they were cousins?
