I too am looking for info on Cavanaugh's from Rhode Island. At least I think I am.
My grandfather was Francis Joseph Cavanaugh born in Troy, NY 8/24/1896. His father was supposedly also Francis Joseph Cavanaugh. FJ Cavanaugh's birth cetificate from Troy list his father as Frank Cavanaugh born in Rhode Island. I had estimated that his DoB was 1865 which would fit with Ken Cavanaugh's DoB for Francis as 1863. I had thought FJC Troy's grandfather was Michael because FJC RI's first son was Michael but... Do you have anymore info on Frank?
