My ancestors were Edward Cavinee(abt. 1762) and Rebecca Gordon.(1773) The Cavinees owned a 300 acre farm in Bedford Co., Pa. which they sold in 1928 and moved to Perry Co.,Ohio. The name Cavinee is sometimes equated with Cavanaugh. It is believed that both Edward and Rebecca were born in Pa. I'm looking for their ancestors but would be happy to share information with other descendants. Oienjw@aol.com
