I am looking for more info on the families of James Cavanaugh and Ellen Gannon in Cornwall, Ontario Canada in the 1860's. They had at least one son named William who married Ellen (O')Keefe, Daughter of Cornelius O'Keefe and Dora Leahy 20 Feb 1860 at St. Columban's. William Cavanaugh was best man to Michael John Gannon at his wedding to Julia Anne O'Keefe 22 Feb 1859. Michael and Julia had a son, William, who left home in the mid 1880's and worked the railroad to Denver and later to Anaconda Montana, Portland and Spokane. I think one of the Cavanaugh sons also followed William and was his best man when he married Margaret Callan 8 Nov 1888
