A John Cavanaugh was nauralized Ottumwa Iowa on Nov 5, 1894 I believe he came with a brother Thomas to whom I am related.
A Mary Cavanaugh born about 1865 married Frederick Bleattner May 24, 1888. A John Cavanaugh Died in 1898 because of an accident at the Phillips mine near Ottumwa, Iowa. There is a web page for Ottumwa in the wapello county gen society. This info was obtained from them. If any of this is of help email me for more info. Good luck on your search.
