Searching for Info on Cavanaugh ancestry of those that settled in the North Cape Fear river valley North Carolina. Duplin County, Wallace etc. Just starting on the quest for family lineage. My father told me a story of how the Cavnaughs settled around 1690 to 1710. Family stories state there were 3 brothers, names not known to me. One went west, one went to the north and the other settled in Duplin County. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
