I am trying to find information on my Cavanagh family from New South Wales Australia. Here is the information I have to date.
John Alfred Cavanagh b c 1851 in Woodville NSW. Died 11/09/1940 in Sydney age 89 years. Married Susannah Lee b 1855 in Woodville NSW. Died 10/08/1934 in Sydney age 78 years. John and Susannah married in Port Macquarie NSW on 24/09/1873.
John and Susannah's children:
Rachel Ann Cavanagh b 1874 in Inverell NSW
Jane Cavanagh b 1875 in Inverell NSW
John A Cavanagh b 1877 in Inverell NSW
Isabella Cavanagh b 1879 in Taree NSW (my great grandmother)
William Henry Cavanagh b 1881 in Wingham NSW
Thomas Cavanagh b 1884 in Wingham NSW
Susannah Cavanagh b 1887 in Taree NSW
Charles Cavanagh b 1890 in Taree NSW
Isabella Cavanagh married Charles Rickard of London on the 07/11/1896 in Sydney.
Isabella and Charles had three children:
Alfred C Rickard b 1897 in Sydney
Frank b 1899 in Sydney
Queenie b 1900 in Sydney. Queenie was my maternal grandmother.
If any Cavanaghs out there recognise any of these names, places or dates, I would love to hear from you.
