Hi Paul
I'm wondering if I might be getting you mixed up with another Paul Cavalier (from NY). I have a Charles Cavalier from MD d.1816, who I have been searching. I was told he was a Michigan Cavalier but I still have nothing to back this up. As for my 2nd great grandfathers family history, he wrote he was a descendant from ME and of hugeunot descent. There was a JB CAVALIER of hugeunot descent and this is why I asked. I was wondering if this was the Jean Baptiste Cavalier you had mentioned. Louis CAVALIER and Mary (Marie) had a daughter named Mary who married Louis HOUDLETTE (Source: Dresden ME History) The surname TURNER is also questionable. Would you by chance have the TURNER surname in your lineage? I appologize for my mix up.
