This inquiry is so old that my message may no longer reach you. I wondered if you had considered the possibility that Patsy M Lovell, wife of W. A. Cauthren, might be a sister of Lindorf's wife rather than of Lindorf himself? Presumably you know that Lindorf married his cousin, Tennessee Lovell, dau of James and Patsy (Chambless) Lovell. It appears to me that James and Patsy Lovell had the daughter Patsy, born ca 1825. Though I have never been able to prove it, it seems almost certain that Lindorf Lovell was the son of William and Elizabeth (Smith) Lovell. Do you have any further evidence in this regard?
