I have a Mary Cothran/Cauthorn born October 1856, married Noah Richardson in 1881 in Hempstead County, Arkansas.
The marriage certificate says "Cothran", but known relatives in the area spell their name Cauthorn.
Mary had a brother named William (uncle Bill) that had one known son named Charles. Uncle Bill lived on the Sulfer River, close to Texarkana.
Family history says that Mary was Cherrokee.
