John, Thanks for the info. A big breakthrough for us. This is my husband's mother's side. I did see where David Cawthon and Jane Gates' children were listed and the names are the same as those we found in Jane's will. So you must have found the right family. Jane's husband had obviously predeceased her, and we couldn't find his first name, nor her maiden name. Are you a descendant... or just a nice guy! Thank you!
