If you haven't you can take your Cauthen lineage back to Richard 1 in England with the data in the Cauthen Family History. My lineage is thru James Cauthen, the Revolutionary Patriot, brother of Thomas & William.
Marylin Cauthen Westenhaver certaintly did good work putting The Cauthen Family History tgeather.She even went to England to gather records. Have aletterfrom her son and daughter in law now living in Omaha, Neb.They wrote about her life in Ala. and how she cameto ddo the book.All her research is housed in The Tutwiler Collection of Southrn History and Liteature in th Birmingham Library, Birmingham, Ala.
Maryline was the first lady architect to graduate from what is now Aurburn University.
