Your post intrigues me. My GGgrandmother, Nancy Missouri Cauthen is a daughter of William "Buck" Cauthen. She had a twin sister named Margaret Elizabeth Cauthen, called Betsy. Nancy and Betsy were born May 15, 1832 in Lancaster Co., SC. I'm not aware of a daughter of Buck's named Mary Elizabeth.
Betsy married Peter Lewis Fleming in Lancaster Co. and about 1850 moved to Hart Co., GA where they raised a family of 11 children, 5 boys and 6 girls. Betsy died November 11, 1902 and as far as I know is buried in Hart Co., GA.
I would be interested in discussing this further with you.
