I am looking for information on the family of my first cousin once-removed: PADIE ELOISE GLASS, b. Sept. 10, 1909, Laichowfu, Shantung Province, China who married BAKER JAMES CAUTHEN, b. December 20, 1909, Huntsville, Texas. They had two children: Carolyn Frances Cauthen who married William Mathews; and Ralph Baker Cauthen, who married Jane Campbell, whose son was John Baker Cauthen.
PADIE ELOISE GLASS was the daughter of EUNICE IRENE TAYLOR b. Oct. 14, 1876, in Bremond,Robertson County, Texas and WILEY BLOUNT GLASS, b. Sept. 4, 1874 in Franklin County, Texas, they were married July 22, 1903 in Kosse, Robertson County Texas.
PADIE ELOISE GLASS was named for my paternal grandmother PADIE ELOISE (WHITE) TAYLOR, b. Nov. 18, 1868 in Itawamba County, Mississippi, who married JOHN GREEN TAYLOR b. Dec. 31, 1866 in Camden, Wilcox County, Alabama, my paternal grandfather.
Does anyone have information on any of these or related families?
I am not certain that the correct name is in fact BAKER JAMES CAUTHEN or JAMES BAKER CAUTHEN. However it is listed in my Taylor family history book as "BAKER JAMES CAUTHEN".
