Lemon M Causey-Update-Grave Pictures

The Update I am going to give you- the grave pictures I want-and I have put a lot of my material on ancestry-and scanned all my old pictures and xerox shared with me over the last 24 or so years. If you would like to see it-let me know.

I could use some help figuring out the reason for the lot selling by the group below. Ideas?

Recently-Macon Telegraph was made available to us-free on line. I found a bit more. (And typed up what I already had)

DEATH & ESTATE OF LEMON M CAUSEY

1853-Dec. 15 Lemon M. Died.

1853 Lemon M.(misspelled Salom M) Causey Apr. 14 was in Crawford. He was with L.B. as appraisor
7 May 1849. (several other duplicates w/right spelling) (Littleberry L- is LB)
Died 65 yrs. 7 mo. 23 days... Buried Salem Cemetery Crawford Co Ga

State of Georgia Crawford County
In the name of God Amen. I Lemon M. Causey of the county and state aforesaid being of sound and
disposing mind and memory Do make and publish this my last will and testament. I hereby revoking
all or any former Wills or Will by me at any time made.
First It is my will and desire that my body be decently intered in a manner suitable to my condition in
life.
Secondly I direct that first of all after my decease that my Executrix pay all my just debts. It is my desire after my debts are paid that my beloved wife Jane CAUSEY have all my estate for and during her natural life
Thirdly After the death of my wife I direct that all my estate both real and personal and of any kind whatsoever be equally divided between all my children share and share alike except as in the remainder of this clause directed that the share of my son Levin CAUSEY is ot go to his possession for the use and benifit of his children and be in any way subject to his debts or disposition under the portion of my daughter Nancy SANDERS to go and vis in her for (words crossed out) and her present or any future husband's joint use and benifit during the natural life of my said daughter and after her death to vis absolutely in her child or children and if the said Nancy should die leaving no child or children then said portion to revoke? to my estate and be equally divided unindoing to the first and second clauses of this

Iten Fourthly I desire that my beloved wife Jane Causey and my son Samuel H CAUSEY execute this my said will and testament.
In Testomony whereof I the said Lemon M. Causey Sr Suc___ set my hand and seal in presence of the subscribing witnesses this tenth day of October Eighteen hundred and forty nine.

Whereas I Lemon M. Causey have by last Will and Testiment having date the tenth day of October Eighteen Hundred and Forty nine appointed & nominated by wife Jane Causey and my son Samuel H. Causey Exectors to the same Now I the said Lemon M. Causey being that dismiss that my son William J. Causey also be and he is hereby appointed A Executor with my said son Samuel H and my Wife Jane hereby fully satisfying all and any other bequest in said Will mentioned to which this is a codicil.
In witness whereof I the said Lemon M. Causey have to this codicil set my hand and seal this 5 th March 1951. L. M. Causey seal

Whereas I Lemon M. Causey did on the tehtn day of October Eighteen hundred and forty nine Sign Seal and Deliver and publish my last will and Testiment in presence of G I Grier, William H Ingraham & Moses Matthews who signed the said will and Testament as Witness and Whereas I also made a codicil to said will on the firth day of March 1857 & Signed the same in the presence of James J Ray, R Montfort & Wm. E Matthews and whereas I am desirous of uttering and changing a bequest and division in my said will. I therefore make and publish this second Codicil to said Will as Follows. I desire and direct that the portion or portions that would be coming to my son William I Causey & Richard Causey as provided for in this 3rd item of My Said Will instead of going to and vesting in them William I and Richard absolutely to go to and vest in their children that is the children of my said sons William I & Richard Causey for the sold use and benefit of the said children & to be far from the debts or liabilities of them the said William I Causey or Richard Causey or either of them and that the said William I Causey & Richard Causey take the portions that may be so coming to their children and hold the same in trust fot them until the said children are or at age. Hereby fully satisfying all and every other business? in said will mentioned to which this is a codicil In witness wherof I the said Lemon M. Causey have to this Codicil set my hand & affixed my seal this 28th July 1853.

The last will and testament of LemonM. Causey late of Crawford County deceased together with the
Codicals thus attached having at this regular Term been duly proven in open court upon the Oaths of
Moses MULLHEAD, William E MATHEWS and Lewis F. HICKS subsibing witness That is in ordered
that the same be admitted to record nd that letting testamomtary do issue to Samuel H CAUSEY one
of the Executors therein named the other two therein mentioned towit Jane CAUSEY and William I
CAUSEY having in open court (refused to qualify maried out) the Trust thereby confers. upon his
taking and Subsribing the oath required by the statues in this case made and provides and that this
order be entered on the minutes of the court papers. J I Ray Ordinary
