I want to add some information about the Austell Georgia "Causey" Family. My great-grandfathers name was Alfred Causey, his wife was Phyllis Pitts, they had 15 known children, James, Curtis, Walter, Claude, Neaner, Freddie, Rose, Efter(my grandfather),Carrie, Pearl, Bert, Will, Sam, Clara and Lena. We have an Indian heritage of either Cherokee or Creek.

Stories told, (No one seems to "know" much) Causey was may families given name from the Plantation owner that my family was connected to in the south. I can not say we are strickly from Austell, Georiga since
our people migrated from other states in the south and were bought and sold. With that said, I can't not say with certainty that Alfred and Phyllis (my great-grandparents)was from the plantation in Georgia. Efter married Ida Adaway, their children were and is Robert, Corrine, Lillian, Genice, Eunice, Thelma, Efter Jr., Viola, Jewell, Idellla, Genevieve and James Edward (all deceased but Jewell and Genevieve).

I hope that is can help you, help us.

Peace,

Barbara
