Thank you! I have a Causey dilemma. My Thomas Causey is born in 1851 and had 6 siblings. His parents in the 1860 census are listed as John and Martha who are 70 and 63 years old. She would have given birth between the ages of 42 and 62 and although I am sure she was a tough farmer's wife, I doubt that!! So the question is, whose children are these? Her grandkids or a relatives or friend's?? They lived in Chambers Co., Ala - He was b. in NC and She in Ga. They moved from Ga. to Ala between 1842 and 1844. By the way Thomas married a Cherokee Indian woman named Smitha Surles (don't know if that is a clue) So do you possibly have any thoughts on my little issue here? I have been researching for about 10 plus years just for the love of the hunt. Accuracy is my goal!
