Some kind soul suggested to me a while back that maybe our line came from Thomas Causey,and now don't know why they thought that! my total info about this main line is as follows"
Leslie Gordon Causey Jr. AL 1920-1999
Leslie Gordon Causey Al 1895-1943
James Charleston Causey AL 1857-1940
James Larance Causey NC 1823-1905 (I got this middle name Larance from the death certificate of James Charleston Causey)

these people were in the Tallapoosa Co. Alabama area and I find them first on the census in 1870
