I too am looking for Hickerson Cosby. I am looking for the parents of William Terrell Cosby. William Terrell was born August 20, 1797 & married Nancy Height 14 Sept. 1825. He died in Talbot County, Ga. 1 August, 1885. Records from FamilySearch International shows that William Terrell Cosby was the son of Hickerson Cosby & Nancy Harris. These same records show Hickerson Cosby as the son of Griffith Dickerson and Ann Cosby. I assumed that perhaps he changed his name for some reason to his mother's maiden name. If you have any additional information, I would appreciate any feed back. Thanks!
