My late Sister, Betty Ruth Ford, married William "Bill" Fred Caulley b. 1937, from Owensboro, Kentucky. He and his mother were living in Tampa Florida at the time. He had two sisters, Ann and Elizabeth. The only thing that Bill knew about his family was that he was told that anyone who spelled their name Caulley with the two LL's were kin to him. Bill had never met anyone else who spelled their name with the two LL's. He didn't know his dad or any other relatives from what I understood. I believe that his father died when he was very young. I also believe that his father was in a mental institution, or else it was his stepfather. Bill was killed at Tampa Shipyards in an accident in 1985.

You would be proud to have Bill in your family as he was the closest thing to a saint that ever walked this earth. You would not believe how many people were at his funeral, and they all said the same thing and meant it, "Bill was the nicest man that they had ever known."

If you think this could be part of your family, let me know and I will get in touch with my nephew. He may be interested in what you have on the family.
