A daughter of David Cauley and Elizabeth Curry was Eliza Jane Cauley Passmore, wife of Bryant Passmore. She filed a Dawes Roll application in OK for admission to the Indian tribe. Her paperwork says that her grandfather was George Cauley and her father was David, both of Montgomery County GA. Eliza and Bryant married in Coffee Co. GA and later came to TX with her father, David, and several of her siblings. Eliza and family migrated on up into OK in the early 1880s. Her application is available from the Southwest Region National Archives at Ft. Worth Texas. Her Dawes application was denied but the family information is there.
