Garret CAUGHRAN married Elizabeth(Eliza) SLAWSON on 18 May 1846 in Lawrence County,IL. Garret died in Lawrence County,IL.in 1861.Their daughter Martha Mary was my great-grandmother. She was born in Lawrence Co.,IL.on 11 April 1849. She married John BYRNE 29 Aug.1869 in Lawrence Co.,IL.Martha died in Vincennes,Knox Co.,IN. on 30 Oct.1920.
