Paula,
We conversed for a short time about 5 years ago, so I haope that this reaches you.
I think that I have finally figured out how we are shirttail relations.
Your John CAUGHEY of 1747 is the son of John CAUGHEY, ( 1727, Ireland )who is the son of John CAUGHEY. ( 1703, Ulster, Ireland )
The John CAUGHEY (1727)is the older brother of my direct, Francis CAUGHEY ( 1728) and one of the 4 original sons, who came with their father, John ( 1703 ) to the colonies in the 1740's.
As you know the boy's were John (1727), Francis (1728), Andrew (1730) and Samuel (1731). Do you have any information on Andrew?
Would love to trade info on our lines.

Vickie CAUGHEY Calzada
