To Whom It May Concern:
My gggrandfather William Caughey married his cousin Eliza Ann Caughey and his brother was Josiah Caughey of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and at 83 he made a statement as a witness to an application for pension for Eliza Ann who was William's wife, since he had served in the Civil War and died in 1897. Either William's parents were John and Nancy or they might be Eliza Ann's.
I have info that I will share if you want to share yours also. William lived in Crawford County, Illinois, when he died. Thank you!
