Looking for information on the caughey's. Here is what we have so far.
James Matthew Caughey
b: Oct 8 1883 ??(Ireland)
d: bet 1918-1923
Married ??Abt.1915 to Ella Sheldon (shulden)Daughter of Nicholas Schulden b:1854 and Maria b:1861(Maiden unknown)Schulden
b: May 1894 Rosendale NY.
d: Kingston NY
They had two children: found in the 1920 NY census Living with Grandparents using the last name Schulden
Edward Caughey
b:1916 in ??(Ct.)
LeRoy Matthew Caughey (This is my Husband's grand father)
b: Oct 17 1917 in Bridgeport Ct.
d: Dec 29 1959 in Kingston NY.
Ella Sheldon married a 2nd time to Michael Curlin
They had
Joseph b:1923
Margret b:1929
Elizabeth b:1931
Harold b:1934

We think that James Matthew's father s name is
Matthew Caughey
b: Jan 1852 Irland
