Shari, Have you looked in the McCreary Clan genealogy books written by Marjorie McCleary? The Caughey's and McCreary's cross over in marriage several time in the late 1700 and early 1800's. Brothers and sisters of each family cross marrying. I however cannot place them in New Galilea for you. My 5 ggrandparents were John Caughey SR., son of Francis Caughey and Jean Scott and Elizabeth Kerr,daughter of Joshua Kerr. All from Bart-township, Lancaster Co. PA.Some of the Caughey's and McCreary also migrated to Ohio together. Hope to hear from you! Vick
