David, Interesting would not be the word, exhuberant would be closer. Pictures you saw are of my Grandfather Archie and Harry, not my father. My father would only be a little older than you, he was born in 1940, his name Douglas Bruce Caudy. My grandfather Archie is who who the liquor stores in downtown Anchorage during earthquake of 1964, he had three originally, one when it was over. As he used to say (with atear in his eye's) $ 30,000.00 worth of perfectly good alcohol rolled down the hill that day. I also ahve copy of James Reid Caudy's release signed bt Montgomery. I would very, very much be interested in family tree you have and bible of Caudy's would like to fill in blanks concerning our branch ( although not a whole lot, but some). My ultimate intention is to connect back to Wales where I am positive we start, and go there to meet some of our relatives descents that never left. I agree whole heartily on your note; Caudy's are a driven type, with a purpose. mark caudy ( dob 5/24/1965 )
